Actually now that I think about it, you could fly with your instructor out of PHX for all of you training minus the solos and then when solo flights come up he could go with his instructor to an airport outside of B and kick the CFI out while he does the solo flights? Wouldn't need a B endorsement for that would ya?

LOL. Because back when I got my PPL, PHX wasn't a TCA, they were a TRSA, then changed to an ARSA in the middle of my training, not becoming a TCA until 1991.
