| Old Skool | [ QUOTE ] Not to burst the LCC bubble, but people don't even know who Delta is on the west coast besides being a faucet company. It's certainly SWA, UA and AA-ville. Even in PHX, the only real choices are AWA or SWA. [/ QUOTE ] Delta really does need to expand westward. They have a west coast hub but SLC is bare bones. If I wanted to fly to CVG or ATL from PHX DL would be my only choice. Anywhere else especially on the west coast and your right AWA,SWA and UAL would be my first choices. Delta needs change that. -Matthew |

| Agent Smith | After Delta bought Western, they were the biggest airline in the LA basin. But onto the important stuff. Man, I've been craving turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy ever since I typed the blurb about 'loss-leader' sales (or whatever the heck it's called). Give me a Vegas buffet and I'll make a big old mound of that stuff! |

| Old Skool | [ QUOTE ] After Delta bought Western, they were the biggest airline in the LA basin. [/ QUOTE ] Yea I remember that Delta used to be the "official airline of California and Disneyland." My family and I used to always take a DL 722 from TUS-LAX during the summer. Hell even AA used to have 2-3 flights a day from TUS-LAX. There mainstay in TUS has always been DFW/ORD service. Then SWA came westward and all that stopped. DL only flies to there hubs from TUS & PHX and by hubs I mean CVG & ATL all SLC flying has been downgraded from a 722 to CRJ flying! Incidently when you get back from this trip you wanna hit this super fandangled resturaunt called IN & Out Burger with the wife? Hit a brotha up... -Matthew |
