Just wondering why there is no ability to post photos on this site? I would like to post some photos that I think would be helpful to other student pilots. All that I can find in the FAQ page is: Can I attach a file to my post? No. File attachment has been turned off for these boards.

You can post photos however they have to be hosted by another site. If you e-mail me the photos I can host them for you.

| Agent Smith | A couple reasons. First, security because I really don't want to deal with potential virii. Secondly, it's a big pain in the posterior when people on other websites start crosslinking your images throughout the internet. We use a lot of bandwidth! There's actually a new feature to share photos on JC that we're looking at but it's kind of far down on the priority list. |

avi8tor thanks for the offer. I will let you know when I get my photos organized. Sorry for the Diamond aviator. I didn't have time to look for a Cessna photo that I liked. Swen, I checked out the Coppermine site and that looks like a good option. Thanks for the suggestion. The reason that I ask about the photo option is because I am a regular of the VWvortex.com forum (for ex. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1744928 ) and have become accustom to the nice photos that accompany the post. I understand that it might make the postmasters' job more difficult but I thought this website could be improved with the allowance of photos. Of course it is your choice to not allow photos.

You mean inquiring? I don't think enquiring is a word. Anyway, you can simply address me rather than asking others. The answer to your question is yes and no. My dad and I flew the 182 for a few hours during our trip through Africa. It is the plane of choice for many of the safari outfitters. We were able to fit 5 adults and our backpacks easily. Nothing like IFR flying (I Follow Roads) and elephants on your runways. But I really don’t have much experience in the 182. Most recently, I have been flying the Cessna 172SP.

WHen you are an English major you can make up any damn word you want so long as you can defend its meaning and justify that no word exists in the language to express your idea. So keep the prolly's et cetera going. Just be able to back it up if someone asks.
