Default Cargo Plane Down in Miami

http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/12/04/pla....ap/index.html

Relatively minor, especially for a water landing.

At least they made a good landing. The aircraft doesn't even look damaged.

Dude, it's in the water. I would say that it is damaged.

BTW, what's with the name change.

I said it doesn't "look" damagad. As in a wing there, a wheel here...

Authorites suspect "hydro-planing".

Last words on CVR: "Select wipers to max!"

GPWS callout: "Don't sink! - Don't sink!"

This is the best part:

...The Miami Air Lease plane -- with the words "Eelect (sic) George W. Bush"....

Ripublicans can spel good.

Reminds me of a person who I met who had a friend that decided to get the words "Straight Edged" tattooed across her back (in old English type of course), but thanks to the dyslexic tattoo artist, ended up with “Straight Egded” or Straight Egged as we now refer to her. Ironically, this person stopped following the straight edge lifestyle a couple years after she got this huge mistake across the length of he shoulders.

XDaveX <-- Haha!

Maybe it originally said "RE ELECT" and the R faded off. It looks like they were all capital letters from the small picture that was in the link.

Actually, it said "ReElect" but the forward cargo door that had the letter "R" painted on it was replaced. You don't honestly think that someone would spell elect with an extra "e" do you?
