At Eagle we had to be at least 5'0", but no taller than 5'10". We were measured (and weighed!) at the interview. (No more weight checks during interviews nowdays though )

So they don't weigh interviewees anymore...I presume there's still an "eyeball assessment" of avoirdupois, no? Or is that ADA-incompatible, too? As someone who's still workin' on a spare tire, it's a concern. Knowledge, skills and experience I can take care of, age and gut are a little trickier. Having been on the hefty side all my life, I'm well aware of the ugly side of weight discrimination and am curious as to the experiences of others along these lines pertaining to airline hiring.

I don't think there's any height/weight restrictions for pilots. For F/As it's worded "weight must be in proportion to height". Gone are the height/weight charts of yesteryear. Good riddance too! A couple years ago I found (and I wish I could remember now where I found it) old weight charts from the 60's. At 5'2", 125, I just barely made the cut, 125 was the heaviest a girl my age (25 at the time) could be at 5'2".. Really kind of scary, I'd need liposuction and boob reduction to fall in the middle of the weight chart for my height!

Okay, this is totally off the topic, but remember that air rage thing a few years ago where the dude, uh, relieved himself on the serving cart?

I'm just imagining him getting ready to do that and Seggy walking up to him.

I think he might have continued to relieve himself, but he'd have done it in his pants.

Seriously Tony. I'm not sure if people that have not met Seggy realize how big he is. We should have gotten a picture with him and Emily at Vegas to demonstrate this. Then another one with him lifting Emily up above his head, that woulda been sweet!

I met Seggy at network JC, and I can attest to his stature! (And what a great guy he is too, by the way.)

I think the top of my head made it up to his elbows. But he'd be great to hide behind, cause no one would ever see me standing behind him!

As for the guy taking the dump on the cart, if he saw Seggy heading his way, he'd be picking his drawers back up and running away if he was smart.

I'm sure some folks sell cocaine and ice to get where they are.

Well, there WAS that job offer in FL. I wasn't to comfortable flying at night, 100 feet off the ocean and no lights, though.
