I'm doing the Sporty's one right now and it seems pretty good. I also found www.mywrittenexam.com - someone from school recommended it to me.

Just tried myairplaneexam.com -- nice, but you need to have your own copy of the computer testing supplement or something with the figures, like the Gleim. I like how it shows time remaining on each page and compares your performance with averages once graded. I haven't studied in a while yet got an 87 on the Instrument Airplane exam....maybe I should brush up a little and go take the thing for real. ![]()

The one that you mentioned is pretty good, that is the one that i used, i think that they are all pretty similar, just look for one that rotates the questions and will pick and choose them at random, just like the real thing will do. I just took mine about two months ago, didn't do to well on it, I passed but still didn't do too swift. Be prepared extremely well, study it like crazy. When I went to my checkride even tho i was confident i was really worried the examiner was going to tear me apart on that PPL written score. He never really did, and i will say i passed the Checkride..., but yeah, stay focused and just spend and entire week going through the Gleim Book, that is my biggest suggestion, and if you don't know somthing look it up. That is more beneficial than just taking the online test. Good luck with that

[ QUOTE ] I haven't studied in a while yet got an 87 on the Instrument Airplane exam....maybe I should brush up a little and go take the thing for real. [/ QUOTE ] Man, I've always been a last-minute written taker. I took my instrument written at 1630....the night before my checkride. I took my commercial written 2 or 3 days before the checkride. I took my CFII written 2 days before the checkride. I did my FIA written at about 1100 on a Friday, before going straight to the airport to fly to Eastern North Carolina to take my checkride on Saturday morning... ![]() Oh, and my Dispatcher written? That ended up being on Monday at 0900, and my practical wasn't until the next monday. I got the dates mixed up - otherwise, I wouldn't have taken it so early.... ![]()
