| Agent Smith | Nah, just the captain and I had an adult beverage at the hotel bar. The girls went to bed (Dr. Phil and a bath) and Skipper and I enjoyed some Shipyard ales. This Thanksgiving was strangely harder than others...I was such an emotional beotch this year. ![]() |

| Old Skool | [ QUOTE ] Not yet! trip is over, got massively delayed out of IAH because of a mechanical and missed the flight home- so I'm at the hotel bar on my iPaq having a beer. [/ QUOTE ] Please, don't say you're at the Holiday Inn Intercontinental...... IAH has been cursed this week. Seems like every flight we had going into or coming out of there was either delayed or cancelled. Same with Northwest. I love it when people come up to me and blame me for things, and it's not even my airline! ![]() |

| Agent Smith | Nope. They flew in a new IRU and we were able to leave late. The captain made it home to see his family and I'm doing hard time in ATL until tomorrow morning. |

| Well we made it back last night from our trip. We flew up to Fayetteville NC to spent Thanksgiving day with my brother and his family. He's stationed at Pope AFB. We nonreved this trip, which turned out way better than I expected. We flew out of MCO to ATL and then on to FAY on ASA, Thangsgiving afternoon. Got dicey on the flight to FAY, so I had to bust out our S2's. Had a great dinner on Thurday night. Yesterday my brother took us out ot the flightline and gave us the tour of a C-130 inside and out. Saw some A-10's on the flightline as well. Drove around and got to see the base as well as Fort Bragg. Both bases are co-located next to one another, I guess for ease of operations with the Army Airborne units. Yesterday afternoon we went to the Airborne/ Special Operations Museum in downtown Fayetteville. It's a free museum. It was opened just recently. It's an awesome museum. It starts from the beginning of the Airbone units in the Army, a big D-Day/WW II section, the beginnig of special ops units in Vietnam , all the way up to including Iraq. They have a C-47, a Waco glider, an AH-6I, a UH-1, and a Sheridan Tank, on display. There are plenty of memorabilia to see. I would definitely recommend it to anyone if you are in the area or are interested in military history. Flew back last night both flights from FAY-ATL and ATL-MCO were pretty open, and were uneventful. |
