What was Jimmy Stewart thinking to play in that movie? BTW, I'll bet that alot of folks didn't know that Jimmy Stewart was a pilot in WWII and a retired General... |

This was a sad stain on Jack Lemmon's career. But as funny as this movie is they keep using the footage of it (the bad special effects) to make other ridiculous movies. As I'm writing this I just heard on the radio about a naked man crawling into the wheel well of a Quantas flight. SAid Quantas wouldn't sell him a ticket. Maybe some policy against boarding naked people? |

Airport 1975 seemed to have more material for Airplane than '77. The flight attendant, the sick kid, the nun, etc... |
