Please tell me that you're 11 years old, and English is your third language.... ![]() Yes, they actually do have these! Often, if you're at an airport with more than one FBO close to one another, the FBO's will race their carts to the taxiway to lure you in to their respective FBO. Military bases also use them alot.... |

You can ask for a progressive, or you could review an aiport diagram in advance so you'll be familier with what to expect.

Very true. If it's difficult to read, two things are going to happen: (a) People will ignore your posts or (b) People will relentlessly belittle your typing/grammar skills and then we've got to deal with another "Goodbye cruel world" swan song. We have lots of fun with those! ![]() But with all that said, welcome! But think of a forum like a talking to someone who you haven't met over the telephone. |

ok with all that said I guess i will be using proper gramer for now on And with Airport Diagrams can the pilot get them printed with his on board printer? For any one who can answer this, how exactly does that work with the printer? does some one at the airport send you what you need or what?

Well, airport charts are included in a set of charts and other publications that the crew will keep abord the aircraft. They'll basically have all of the airport charts and approach/departure procesures for every airport that the airline operates at (assuming you're talking about airlines). For general aviation (non-airline, civilian) operators, we'll do the same thing, but we just usually carry charts for the area we're operating in. As far as the on-board printer, well, not all aircraft have that option... |

I've seen those on-board printer things but we don't have them at UPS. I think United has them and they can get the ATC clearance and pre-takeoff weight and balance info on it. It wouldn't be for airport diagrams as it would be too small. We have charts supplied by the company that give us this info that we have to carry around all the time. My complaint about the airport diagram is that it's so small that it can be hard to figure out sometimes.
