|  Pro Rata Share What exactly does pro rata share include? Are private pilots required to pay for all parts of a flight (including operating costs, fuel, oil, etc..)? I have never completely understood the definition of pro rata share. |

| Re: Pro Rata Share If you buy a 12 pack and drink it yourself it's 16 bucks. If you have a buddy over and you each drink 6, you make your pal chip in 8. If you have 3 people over and you each have 3, everyone has to pay 4 bucks. That's pretty much pro rata share. |
