Default Finding the Aircraft Registration You Flew On

Hey everybody!

As some of you may know it is possible to find the registration of the aircraft you flew (if you did not get a chance to note it down) for domestic flights. However, is there a website that also does this but for international flights? I am trying to find which aircraft I flew several years ago, but they were international flights and I do not know where to find those. Does anybody of any suggestions?

Thank you in advance

I remember someone here on JC giving me a link to a website that had info on almost any domestic/iternational aircraft. I know it is in my favorites somewhere. If I find it, I'll post it.

Just a suggestion; it might save us all some time (you writing and me reading) if you find the link first, then make a post about it, eh Brian?

That's possible on both accounts.

I did debate internally (before my first post to BJ) on whether I should say anything or not. I don't want to bash the poor kid, he gets enough of that as it is. I just wanted to give a gentle reminder that it's not necessary to post every little thought that comes into one's brain.

It's hard to know how people will read things, and I've caught grief before for being a jerk. That part doesn't bother me since I'm not concerned with anyone else's opinion of me; I just don't want to discourage someone else on this forum unintentionally. So I've been working really hard at only being a being a jerk on purpose, not by accident.

Just go over to airliners.net and read some 'Trip Reports' and you'll understand. It's some good stuff - you;ll have to check it out. It absolutley amazes me that there are people in this world that have so much free time but "to each his own" I guess.

Jason

PS - If you do read any of them I particulary recommend the one where the guy is "extremely frustrated" that his flight left out of gate C24 instead of C25 and pushed 2 minutes late or the one that the guy is pi$$ed because he was in First Class on CAL and they only brought the snack basket around once - 1 hour after they had served him a steak on a transcon flight - absolutley priceless!! Those are my 2 favorites.

Yeah, my "Why would you..." was in reference to why anyone would want to keeps tabs on the tail numbers. I only keep this info for the ones I fly because I have to. Other than that ... who cares.

I've read some of the trip reports on a.net, and all I have to say is that I feel like a supreme stud after reading it. Dang those people make stamp collectors look like party animals.

And then the movie got fuzzy and skipped, and I was like oh my gawd can't they fix that Betamax, I mean please really, what am I paying $25 for to fly from LAX to JFK?!

Those are the types of people who glare at me as they're deplaning and say "I'm never flying this airline again." Yeah, because I can control the weather and it's my fault we had 3 1-hour gate holds due to massive lines of thunderstorms. Thanks, chief, please do not ride my airline again. That's the website I find for past domestic flights. I was wondering if there was one for past international flights.

I am doing this for fun. It amazes me seeing the aircraft I have flown on and seeing it in different parts of the world. Its like, "Hey, I was in that seat 2 weeks ago!" Its part of my hobby. Also, there could be a chance that I go in the same aircraft twice.

Thanks

I get paid to do this and it's not fun for me. What's the secret?

How do you get to the page where you can find the registration #? Or a link would be great.

G'day JC posters & tax evaders

I couldn't help myself, went and looked up a few of my flights in the various trips to the US..... well that serves me right, I ended up miserable all day.

I found out that I had flown SFO-JFK on N612UA which was one of the aircraft hijacked on 11 Sep.

Looking those flights up ended up being a morbid and sobering experience, a little creepy in fact.

Gloomily yours
