Default Crazy price for an ERJ type rating... ???!!?

Boeing 727 USD 10,600.00

Boeing 737-200 USD 9,000.00

B737-300 USD 11,000.00

Boeing 737-800 USD 18,900.00

Embraer Regional Jet USD 19,670.00

from: http://www.simcenter.cc/aircraft_course.html

I can understand the classic 737 type ratings being a little cheaper, but the ERJ is more expensive than the 738!

Is it because the ERJ is more complex than the 737s ?

Well, you should check the prices on a GV type rating, I have heard prices of between $20,000 to $40,000.

I have no idea....But maybe the availabilty of the ERJ sim is more sparse, making it more valuable.

Maybe b/c ERJs are technically in more demand right now? Anyone check prices on Airbus types? I heard those can be pretty outrageous.
