Plus, I think the pilots have already given far enough. What's to say management won't ask for more cuts next week? The line has to be drawn somewhere. |

You (management) don't present one contract proposal one week, then come back with a worse proposal the next week after the first one is rejected and expect to be looked at as truly wanting to save the company. The pilots it seems have said enough is enough. |

It's the Alabama Pension fund playing a last game of chicken before they decide whether or not to liquidate it. The pilots know this is the last round. |

But the "downfall" that everyone tries to find for all the problems was deregulation followed by completely negligent oversight by management. Despite flying in the highest yield environment in the country, USAir still let their costs and debt get so far out of control they were doomed. |
