Default My FlyI review

So the wife and I flew to Pittsburg on Staturday and then back on Sunday so we could go see the 10th ranked WVY Mounties take on the pride of ECU.

I was very impressed with FLY I. Dave the Flyer. I wish you guys the best of luck. The staff were all very friendly. I enjoyed the guest hosts for the safety thing. The seats seemed much roomier than anything I have had with US Air in the past 3 years. Loved the fares.

I know it seems a bit A-Nettish to say it but I wanted to report because I have seen a bit of fly I bashing here. I hope they make it. Great job guys (if you are reading.)

I'm kinda hoping they do well, too. More jobs at the entry/regional level, the better for me. It will be interesting to see how they handle the high CSM of the RJ in the long run, though. I'm sure they have some killer financing from Airbus on the A320s.

Funny you mention Dave, I just talked with him on the phone a few weeks ago. He's still flying the Dork Jet as a Delta Connection carrier and will be until I believe November when the contract comes up for that. He managed to have an overnight here in Kalamazoo, but he was across town and on a real short overnight so I was only able to chat with him on the phone for a few minutes. Talked with him about his airlines new venture, and he's obviously hoping they make it through. As far as I'm concerened, if any regional can make that hop it's ACA. They've got the brains up top and the cash in the bank to pull it off.

Dave said that he's either making a transition to the CRJ in November...or he's getting furloughed. He also mentioned that he hasn't been around much lately due to work/new kid (who is doing well), but if he looses his job come November he'll probably make a comeback.
