Default Pilot Who Flew Bush To The USS Abraham Dead

I was surprised how low-profile this has been - it happened 3 weeks ago.

Here is the story -
[ QUOTE ]

A U. S. Navy aviator from Indiana County was among four military people killed during a training exercise in the Pacific Ocean.

The Indiana County commissioners office confirms that Lt. Cmdr. Scott Zellem died when his plane went down on an island near Iwo Jima on Tuesday.

Dozens of people are still involved in the recovery effort on the island. Zellem was a 1987 graduate of Indiana Area High School and was a football player.

Zellem returned to the school to speak on Veterans Day a couple of years ago.

Probably because the pilot was Navy Cmdr. John Lussier.

Umm - has someone got their wires crossed then. Sad regardless, but it does explain why the media did not pick up on it.
