I got a call this morning from a guy at the airport who owns a four month old Meridian inviting me along on a trip down to his house in Spruce Creek for a night then Myrtle Beech for a night. How's the security at Spruce Creek? I'm I going to be arrested for drive a golf cart around taking pictures? I know Myrtle Beach (he goes into Grand Strand) doesn't have any problem with me walking the ramp. Any one in Spruce Creek or Mytle Beach want to meet up? I havn't been this excited about a flight in a while [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I did a lot of flying around the daytona area about 9 years ago, I have landed at 7FL6 a couple of times, have not spent enough time there to tell you if they would allow you wander around the ramp. As kristie was saying if you don't know this guy I wouldn't jump into a plane with him.

no spruce creek is very quiet. Usually on the weekends you'll see some cool planes. we usually ride around the neighborhood on my buddies golf cart drinkin some beers and no one ever says anything. there won't be to many pictures to take there its a very quiet airport.

Spruce Creek is a fly in that's private, so pretty laid back. Lots of cool airplanes and neat folks there. Security isn't too tight.

Never been there before Alex...but I must say I'm damn jealous of some of the flying you get to do. I'm definately going to have to come out to DE and visit when my family moves back to Maryland next summer. Have a good trip and get plenty of pictures for jetphotos.net ;-)
