Oh dear.... Does anyone have a weird cold-like illness that you can tell is not actually a cold, but something else? I don't know what it is, but I just passed out for a couple hours after I felt some weird stuff going on around my spine and my neck. Ouch. jetBlue is supposed to get 100+ EMB-190s. Hopefully they'll have an early completion factor better than the 170s. Their payrates, though, are crap. Hopefully they'll improve before the first one hits the line. Oh yeah, and this thread might not be 7 pages long if we didn't have 3 topics per page. I'll keep you guys updated on the whole situation. Today it already looks better, because my financial aid counselor introduced me to a loan that I can apply for again and again with different co-signers. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/spin2.gif[/img] The lender wanted me to have at least a 24-month history of good credit, but I only have 18 because I just started out with this stuff! Now I'm scavenging for a co-signer! |

It all depends on whether you like Canadian or Brazillian. Right now, it seems like the market likes the Embraer. A year from now, who knows? And I've seen the 190 up close and personal. It looks nice, I'm sure it flies great, but hey, what the hell do I know. All my time is in the mighty C172. |

Geez, now I have to reply to three different topics in one post! First, I should have specified the short field capabilities of the 135. I apologize, and I also recognize the shortcomings of the small payload. Second, I've seen the payscale for the JetBlue 190s as well, and agree that it sucks. I'm under the impression, though, that there are contract negotiations coming soon which should hopefully take care of this problem. And finally, Michelle, while not that old, there's nothing wrong with being bald!
