|  \"The Killing Zone\"
Just got back from a nice little vacation to Oregon, Washington and Victoria, BC. While there I read The Killing Zone by Paul A Craig. For those not familiar, the "killing zone" is the 50-350 hour range of a pilots (in)experience. The book basically outlines preventative strategies to avoiding the most common ways in which pilots in the "killing zone" kill themselves. I very strongly recommend the book and suggest it be the first thing you read upon completion of your Private Pilot Certificate. In fact I think that when I become an instructor I may even make it required reading! ...oh and BTW, I think it's about time we gave our neighbors to the north a break. As goofy and backwards as they may seem, they're really some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img] |
