Congrats . . . Where are you at, and what do you charge? After finishing the PPL last October, I decided I wouldn't pursue the instrument right away . . . enjoy the certificate and the flying without instructors. But I haven't been flying as often as I would like because of hectic schedules and the such, that I fear I'm starting to lose a lot of the knowledge and get rusty. So I'm thinking about going after the instrument training now so I have a more valid excuse for others to get out of things so I can go fly. |

You fly out of Martin State. We use the VOR/DME 15 approach in the sim when we teach DME Arcs. It would suck to have to fly that apprioach in IMC.

That approach is a lot of work. A Dme arc to final, and a DME arc to the missed. We also have a Localizer, NDB, and ILS approaches.

What a cool approach. My buds were gathering around when I was checking it out, even. Good stuff. Congrats on the CFII btw. |

Great job man! I was going to ask you about that. Easier than you thought huh? I wasn't worried for ya. It was great meeting up with you in St. Louis, we'll have to do it again some time. Congrats again and take care! |
