CFII Checkride Passed!!

I just passed my CFII ride tonight, I will post a gouge, tomorrow I'm goimg to bed.

Congrats . . .

Where are you at, and what do you charge?

After finishing the PPL last October, I decided I wouldn't pursue the instrument right away . . . enjoy the certificate and the flying without instructors.

But I haven't been flying as often as I would like because of hectic schedules and the such, that I fear I'm starting to lose a lot of the knowledge and get rusty.

So I'm thinking about going after the instrument training now so I have a more valid excuse for others to get out of things so I can go fly.

Windchill, I know you didn't ask me but I am a CFII from Baltimore, Maryland. I fly out of Martin State in Md, And I'm looking for students. Let me know if we can help each other out.

You fly out of Martin State. We use the VOR/DME 15 approach in the sim when we teach DME Arcs. It would suck to have to fly that apprioach in IMC.

That approach is a lot of work. A Dme arc to final, and a DME arc to the missed. We also have a Localizer, NDB, and ILS approaches.
