Default Doug\'s new avatar

Is it just me or is that picture of Doug so perfect that you think it was actually taken in front of a painted background instead if in real life???

It is a great picture but I can just see you standing in line at the walmart portrait studio...

Just a thought.

Doug, you know you've made it when people start threads just to talk about your avatar.

Just kiddin' ya shooter, I thought it almost looked photoshopped because of the lighting! But way cool.

That's a real photo! I just cropped it and changed the size.

Here is the whole picture, but instead of the original 5 megapixel shot, it's reduced to a 'web friendly' size:

Pretty easy. Just set the camera to recognize the exposure setting of the object in the background and then use a 'fill flash'!

You can photoshop it down a little if you want to reduce the fill flash.

Ha! I have that exact same photo. Just replace Doug with jdflight and there it is. Cool place. Did you hike down below the castle to the river?

Nope! On a little time crunch! Heck, the hike down from the bridge to where the tour began was enough for me!

Kind of sucked I thought. It was very modern inside. "Thees is vwere Keeeng Loodvigs vater closet was. But it vas added last year and of course never used by looodvig. Here we have the royal keeetchin with Viking stove and modern stainless steel which was added last week..."

That is one heck of a hike up isn't it? When we went up we kinda cheated and took a horse drawn carriage up. Crazy cool view from up top though.

Why use flash in this type of lighting? I personally think it would've looked MUCH better without flash. See? Now we all think it's fake.

When were you in Germany Doug? I've taken my share fair of pictures from that exact bridge. Don't you just love the way it shakes?

Anyway, I've got people visiting from TX and they want to go to Neuschwanstein... so it looks like I'll be on that bridge again on Tuesday.

Still looks fake. Kind of reminds me of that guy with the coat and backpack that was photoshopped in front of just about every landmark in the world, including the world trade center with a 767 headed right for it. Or the asian guy... actually nevermind I don't want to think about that.

Also, I'm just waiting for someone to take this picture of Doug and photoshop him in front of a bunch of places. It would be an excellent photo to do that with.

Never mind.

I look like William Hung? Man, that's a new one!

Typically, being the only person of color in a room full of whitey, it's normally:

"Hey, you look like:"

Will Smith.
Martin Luther King.
That guy who plays for the Lakers, but you're a lot shorter.
That rap guy.
That other black pilot at Delta.
Chris Rock.
Ice Cube.
Tupac Shakur
That guy from that aviation website

or my favorite:

(Any black person whose in the latest movie/video)

How come no one ever says, "Wow! You look like Taye Diggs! Wooo mama!"?
