| [ QUOTE ] I've seen more folks kicked off airplanes, spit at gate agents and assault other passengers in my short eight years as an airline pilot and there's no way I'm going to volunteer to watch that jazz on TV! Much rather watch Skinamax, but we don't get premium channels in the Taylor hogan anymore! [/ QUOTE ] Jeez Doug, where do you fly? In 25 I can pretty much count on one hand those types of incidents (course my memory is going). That's why it cracks me up that they film the same SWA people having the same types of confrontations. Hmmmm. Maybe need some re-training? Dave |

| Old Skool | TVs, stereos, bicycles, surfboards, golf bags (EVIL!!!), free weights, grandma, you name it, they check it. At least we only fly domestic. I've heard horror stories from the Virgin Atlantic guys. However, I DID see them offloading a Ferrari the other day. |

| Old Skool | Bags at an FBO don't sound like a problem, but dealing with the rich-private-jet having fortunates was a nightmare. People would have stuff in the little cargo area and in the cabin not packed at all. It was like moving someone out of there house minus the fridge, etc. and they couldn't get boxes. One family must have had the entire nursery for their baby on board, I wouldn't be surprised if I helped someone offload drugs LOL. |
