I jumpseated with mikecweb today and he wouldn't stop talking about his damn new iphone. He runs all the checklists and descent calculations on it. He said he couldn't check weather on it because it wasn't "approved", but he never turned the radar on once. Interestingly enough, when he tried to calculate a crossing restriction, it'd only reply with a flashing "I'd hit it". Stupid iphone.

But thats a good thing though. That means that he'd meet the crossing restriction. If it replied "I wouldn't hit it", he might want to request delayed vectors or another alternative.
