Default center load for w&b

I've heard some conflicting information from several pilots on W&B. When can you use centerload method for doing a weight and balance on the C208?

I'm not 100% on this. It is in the flight manual, but I think if you exceed the floor load limit for the first zone you can put whatever heavy object you have in the center zone. Like a big Keg with plutonium in it
