But shouldnt this be good news for those of us who have contracts with both dhl and ups. wouldnt this expand both of our company's flying and gaining more runs?

Looks like ABX is losing 75% of it's aircraft. That's alot of pilots out of work. Who knows about Astar.

We haven't heard anything on the AMF side. However it does appear the DHL routes will be gone. I don't know what will happen to all the extra airframes or pilots. Lets just hope UPS keeps there promise and makes some of these bases all AMF after the billings contract was lost to Alpine.

Default DHL drops feeders.

Well crap, As of 27th June All DHL runs will end in SLC. I figured end of summer first of fall.

Sure hope we get extra runs or capacity on UPS or things aren't looking good.

SkyWest hiring?

Wonder what they're gonna do with those guys? Might be a good time to be a floater if you don't feel like working that much.

It IS a good time to float if you want to hibernate instead of work. That won't last forever though. *Goes back into hibernation*.

Yeah I know Im gonna sit tight for now and see what happens. I may be the new manager of an hardware store somewhere in the Salt Lake Valley.

I heard AMF will loose 17 of the 20 DHL runs we have.

AMF is losing 10 from what I've read. I don't think that it's the end of the world for you, but it does suck major monkey scrotum.

DHL is cutting 75% of flying. I'm at Wilmington right now using their -9 sim and they have notices around the building about what to expect if you lose your job.

Not quite. Compass is hiring. Not that I would go there. Too unstable for my taste.

The boxes will need to be flown by someone. Someone will be hiring a bunch very soon.
