Call them! Call them today. Call them tomorrow....and the next day and the day after that. HR is usaully in 9am-5pm Monday thru Thursday and 9am-12pm on Fridays (Pacific time). I haven't been to the mothership in a while, but I think Joanie is in charge. Call 1(800) 800 4JET and ask to speak to Joanie. What are your times? Good Luck, Kelvin

Your times look good. Just keep calling until you get someone on the phone. They never returned my messages when I was trying to get an interview. I lucked out and got ahold of one of the Assistant Chief Pilots. Where would you like to be based?

I'm looking at OAK (i have family there). Did you call the 1-800 number or to a local number to get a hold of someone in recruiting?

Do yourself a favor and bid BUR! You'd get sent TDY to OAK for as long as you'd like and you'd make more$$$. It is also easier to get out of Burbank to other bases than it is with OAK. OAK is known as the black hole. Once you go in, you never get out!...Unless you quit.

Same with out stations! Don't bid an out station unless you want to stay there for the rest of your time at Amflight. There's a laundry list of guys that simply quit to get out of their out station.

Nope PHX is a base. There are a few runs that are outstationed throughout Arizona that fly into PHX I believe.

| There are several outstations that are part of the Phoenix base, but many runs based at Skyharbor as well. There are advantages to taking an outstation. The company provides an apartment where you stay at night. This can keep your housing costs down considerably. Just rent a cheap room in the outstation city or find a girlfriend there that you can shack with on the weekends |
