Default Twin Comander down in TUL

It was pretty nasty last night as the front blew through, I left about 2130.

Aparently a Twin Comander departed at 2300, reported some sort of mechanical problem, and crashed.

Yes, it was a CASW Commander, N712AT.

Pilot was 31, from what I understand a really nice gent and a good pilot. One of my close friends in the company knew him well.

I have to go fly in a couple of hours, and for the first time in couple of years, I really don't want to go fly. But, in times like these, we sometimes have to swallow our sadness and grief and do our jobs. Even though it is difficult, the ability to segreate our jobs and our personal feelings it one thing that makes us professional pilots.

Please be safe out there.

May he rest in peace.
