Default Farewell

Farewell freight dogs... though I may rejoin your ranks someday in different equipment, for now, I've tossed my last box, and flown my last quiet solo night with only the stars and engine hum to keep me company.

It's been fun, awe-inspiring, terrifying, and above all, the most fantastic learning experience that I could imagine for the last thousand and a half hours. Moonlit nights, meteor showers, lines of lightning-lit thunderstorms, St Elmo's fire crackling thru the windshield to meet my fingertips... too many cool experiences to list... I've alternately loved it and hated it, but I wouldn't trade the experience for the world. For now, it's on to a CRJ, and a far more structured environment. Another world I'm sure. Hope to be back to freight doggin someday, just in different equipment.

Well there you have it folks. Everyone who flies 121 hates their life.

Good luck in training Av8trix! You will enjoy the flying! So much variety.

Enjoy the safety of 121. I'm glad I switched.
