Default Another Ameriflight question

Just a question for those who are in it. I saw on 350 that they needed 99 pilots based in billings and helena but wanted 1500/100. I currently have 1200/300 and was wondering if that would be enough. Also I just gave my resume through the upload option and didn't know if that was enough. I would just go ahead and call but couldn't find a phone number anywhere.

27,500/yr is BS. There are some other 99 operators out there paying much, much more.

The job I just got I got hundreds of hours below advertised. I was talking to my CP and DO the other day and they both said with the way regionals are snatching everything up these days the up and comers are no longer coming.
My advice would be to look hard for what you want and go for it (within the scope of what you were talking about). I'm in class right now for the 99 and should be online in two weeks. 27,500 wouldn't make me look sideways.
Freight operators are hurting.

800-800-4538. Go ahead and call, ask for someone in pilot recruiting. Tell them you've applied online (gotta fill out the whole app first, by the way), and tell them what you are interested in. Flight time requirements are fairly flexible as long as you meet the 135 mins.

First year 99 pay isn't the greatest... hell, all of the pay isn't the greatest. BUT, they are a pretty good place to work with a lot of opportunities for advancement. I flew three different airplanes, was based at three different bases (by choice), they paid for my ATP and my first type rating, I got my 1000+ turbine PIC there, became a training captain, flew all over the U.S. (including Alaska), made some lifelong friends, had a blast (mostly), and recently moved on to bigger and better after a couple years there. That's the whole point of it... if you expect it to be a "career" job, you'll probably be disappointed.

P.S.- Billings is a great base with awesome people. I flew in there daily for about 5 straight months. If you can stand the winter, it's one of the better bases in the company, in my opinion.
