Shoot, I remember being really excited to have a really old RNAV to plot a course with. Many thanks to my training roommate for teaching me to program that sucker.

Sounds like this guy already decided he didn't get or want the job. No excuse for not appreciating a free ride, however. I really do not like people like that.

Same here! I as well get too many ppl that heavily rely on equipment with computer screens. Sure its good for situational awareness, but use your backups. As we advance further the mind gets dumber. No more thinking and troubleshooting yourself. Hence why I never wanted to start my career off in a friggin regional jet. I wanted to fly!
