| I saw this post on Ameriflights Web-Site:REALLY interested in it! Have sent my employment request along with filling out the application. Do live in Los Angeles, CA area and BUR would be a 20 min drive in reasonable traffic. However, I think that is only for chieftons. Am more interested in the slot with that EMB 120 First Officer and here is that posting! Department: FLIGHT Position: EMB-120 FIRST OFFICER - DHL Date Posted: 3/13/2007 Base: CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVG OUTSTATION) Description: Flight operates Monday (pm) through Saturday (am). Departs CHO at 2100 E, stops in LYH and continues to ILN. Remains in ILN for 6 hours while freight is sorted. Departs to CHO at 0600 E. Crew gets rest and lives in CHO. Basic compensation is 40 units EMB-120 First Officer weekly. What I want to know is who would I contact! My materials have been on file over 3 month no one has called me! My logbook stats are: 1413TT 126 MEL 2.0 Turbine and 121-ATP Written Complete and BA-Degree! Have spoken with the BUR lady on hiring / HR but nothing. Anyone else outside of BUR I can speak with about this EMB position! Willing to move from the LA area ASAP and need min. 2 weeks notice prefer a bit more but flexible! Thanks, jetpilot@gmail.com |

| Haven't you interviewed with just about every regional on the planet? If you've applied online, and spoken to Joanie, that's about all you can do. Good luck. |

| Hey, You should have no problem getting the Brasilia based on your times. I don't know if any current AMF pilots have put in a bid for that run, but I doubt it. Don't know much about the CHO run. Seems like a cool town to live in, college town and all. I've met the captain and he seems like a descent guy, but I doubt if he moves off that run anytime soon. So if you have your sights set on transitioning to EMB captain soon, you should probably burst that bubble. There MAY be an opening on one of our West Texas runs in the next few weeks, but that's just here say. The Texas flights run about a year or year and a half for a captain spot. As for who to call, you need to keep bugging Joanie in Pilot Recruitment. That's pretty much it. Maybe once or twice a week. Training is at FlightSafety in Long Beach after you complete basic indoc for AMF, and they only run FlightSafety class about once or twice a month, so it could be a while to get a class date. They do a good job, though, and the instructors are pretty knowledgeable despite having no "real" experience in the plane. Good luck and PM me if you need more info. |

| Im the FO on this run. Im leaving to fly the metro in the middle of may. The run is easy. Leave CHO at 9pm goto LYH and then into ILN. You get into ILN at 11pm and takeoff for CHO at 6am, your off by 7:15 am. Bob (the capt) is a cool guy, very easy to get along with, and easy to fly with. He is job hunting but I think he has been for the last 7 years About 2 times a month we fly into CVG and swap planes, and also we have been on standby for a Beford run. So theres extra money here and there. If you have any questions let me know |

| Old Skool | Marshall told me he's gone from Brownsville to Ypsilanti in a Caravan. Ew. |

| Old Skool | There's a real good picture of Marshall somewhere droning along at 10,000 feet reading a Maxim actually... |

| Agent Smith | I thought Marsh was more of a "Stuff" or an "FHM" type of guy. I had him all wrong! Marsh and Kingairer have to meet man, the resemblance is scary.

| Wait wait wait, I don't think you need to fly it for 11 hours to be able to say how mind numbingly boring it is. |
