| Old Skool | All turbine, long days. Might fly 2-3 hours a day with an 8 hour sit in the middle. |

| Yes, they do have pretty long days... BUT, just about all the runs are outstations, so you spend your long days at HOME. Better than a long day in a hotel. |

Holy crap! You ARE still alive ! I think the only guy that lives in BIL does the Great falls-Cutbank run(UPS 99), and maybe a reserve. Don't quote me on that, but that's pretty close.

| You can live in Alaska if you want... Yeah, you can live in BIL or HEL, but the point is that the weekend begins and ends in HEL, so getting back and forth can suck pretty bad and make QOL a nightmare. |

| I haven't personally heard anything of the sort (unless you mean "cool" in the literal sense). SLC... now THAT's a cool base. A little less cool now that Citabria and tinman are gone, but still cool. ![]() |

| Hey, question for you SLC AMF people--were any of you flying a Metro SLC-IDA on Friday around 9-10AM? I was in a diverting Skywest RJ and an AMF metro slowed a little to follow us in--if it was any of you, thanks for that. |

![]() Honestly, I was planning to sneak in ahead of you by canceling IFR with center, but the controllers in IDA suck and made me slow down. So... sorry if I sounded pissed off. It was at them, not you. ![]()

| I taught ESF everything he knows about being courteous in the Tube and how to Woo-Sah when things aren't going his way... ![]() To answer your question, Rob, Citabria is taking his E120 type ride on Wed. and then going to the Dallas base. |

| I figured that was your plan...it should have worked, too, because center kept us pretty high, and the CRJ will drop like a rock but only if it's configured, so we had to slow a ways out to get it dirty. We tried not to screw around on the runway for you, though. |

| Rob- Yeah, I still like it. Don't really know what else I'd rather do. I connived them into making me a Be-99 training captain, so I'm doing that now, in addition to flying the tube (on reserve lately). Glad to hear you're liking it there! Stapp- There is a Metro outstation in Richland that flies to PDX every evening. As far as I know, they are still looking for someone to fill it. There is also a Chieftain that flies into Pasco out of Portland every day. Quote:
![]() I'm always courteous, I'm just tired of all the sucky controllers around here. You know how it is. I had to slow from 245 to 150 all the way down a 20 mile final the other night to follow a DC-9 that I was in front of to begin with. I could've hauled ass to the marker, landed, and cleared the runway at H10 before that stupid banana jet even had it's gear down, but no... I'm not a jet, so I must be slower. ![]() P.S.- Citabria, you should see all the planes/pilots we have now. We got another one of each type, complete with pilots to fly them (tdy), PLUS the 3 new people that are in training. It's almost like BUR actually gives a crap about us!

You guys think you're so fast in your little turbo props don't you! Oh my god! I had to slow down to 150 from 245!! Oh, the humanity! ![]()
