My goal is to someday have a job with FedEx and I am looking for some advice. I know that i need to get references from within, which i don't have yet. I am planning on getting pic turbine at a 135 company. I still have a ways to go to get the mins but no harm in starting early. Thanks for any advice |

what is the best way to network with other pilots? Are there any job fairs that are also good for meeting pilots? Sorry for the no question post before.

Don't mind the guys that have trouble reading, they can't offer FedEx advice anyway. You want to fly for FedEx, and you want advice? Here goes. Visit the FedEx pilot website (pilot.fedex.com) and take note of the requirements. Then go get 'em. Turbine PIC is the hardest nut to crack, so make your plans accordingly. Network, network, network. Keep phone numbers and addresses for every pilot you meet, and send them Christmas cards every year. By the time you accumulate the qualifications, several of those on your Christmas card list will be FedEx pilots -- contact them, and have them go to bat for you. Good luck! . | |
