Default Is Jtrain a 'freight dawg'???????

I called Jtrain at 6:00 AM Eastern Time (3:00 AM Pacific Time) and he didn't answer his phone?

Whats the deal with this? Don't real 'dawgs' answer the phone all hours of night?

I guess he is not a real one.

Naw man, the run I'm on is sweet. The captain is a great guy, the layover is decent and there's an open internet connection. But we're getting our legal rest during the day and I've been having a hard as hell time sleeping this week. I'm not sure that I've slept for more than 2 hours at a stretch in the last 72 hours 'cause of this jacked up schedule, which really comes from my inability this week to flip my body clock onto the backside and get my rest here instead of at home (or put up with what I've been doing, which is 4 hours of sleep at home, then a few hours at the layover, then a few hours at home, then a few at the layover). If I could get my damned body to get on the proper schedule this would be perfect, but I've been having a real tough time sleeping during the day this week (which isn't normal for me).

Arent you a trainer for AmF?

Do you have to go on actual runs with the others pilots?

He doesn't have to, but he does it for the experience. He also has nothing else to do right now except bring his bad luck around and break planes.

Thats all you can do. Even the ODP requires a climt to like 11,500. It is also very busy out there on Friday night with all corporate traffic and weekend warrior yahoos coming in. I saw a plane land while another one was still on the runway last night. It had to be a good 50 or more aircraft out there on the ramp when I took off.

Holy crap that's a lotta airplanes for that place.

Hey you get any more news on that crash up there? I also heard somebody geared one up into Arlington yesterday too.

Yeah, Mammoth and half the other podunk mountain airports we fly to. I love cranking and banking up an ODP in the tube on dark, snowy nights. That's real flying!

This thread is to funny. mr train is an offline training captain. basically they haven't had squat for them to do lately with the next class essentially being all 99 pilots, hence why I've been busy as snot. but its all good.

VFR yeah. I've got a 135 VFR PIC check and a 135 IFR SIC check.

And on part 91 legs I can be assigned as the PIC, including flying by myself.
