Default Where is everyone

Where'd everyone go? I haven't heard from anyone in over a week. Last I heard we were going to the Pie to celebrate a new Metro driver and it never happened. What's the deal? By the way, I'm officially a Regional Rat. I passed my Sim ride yesterday. Woopty Doo!

Congrats on the simride. What did it entail, if you don't mind me asking. I could be taking a sim ride down the road here soon...

No I was in the 99 for 6 months. I would be really crazy if I were in the Metro.

I'm a baby and didn't like the schedule. I like to get my sleep all in one shot. Also, I came to the realization that if I wanted to go to the "majors" directly from Ameriflight, that I would have to get to know someone quick or spend about 5 years there. I couldn't see myself being there that long with the schedule we had so I moved on to a "good" regional. It was either now or never, so I took a chance.

ESF seems to be gunning for UPS via mr. ups...you should've followed in his footsteps

Who is Mr. UPS?

I'm not gunning for anything except staying alive and employed. Lets be realisitic here... UPS and FedEx aren't going to come banging on the door of this college dropout. Maybe now that I'm flying the Metro, I can afford to take my last dozen or so classes, and then they will be banging on my door. Then again... probably not.

Rob- we went out to The Pie on Friday night, but I don't have your number and my computer has been busted until yesterday. We go all the time though, so if you're still around, send me your cell # and I'll give you a call. I'm sure we'll probably end up going again this week to feed Citabriapilot's addiction. (ok, mine too).

Congrats on passing your sim!

I didn't know that. He knows Mr. UPS?

Hey, congrats on passing the checkride ESF!

I probably wouldn't have gone out Friday anyway even if I did know. My partner and I did so bad in the Sim that day that we stuck around to observe other people that actually knew what they were doing. Thank god we finally got our act together.

MY addiction? Hmmm... I only go there because you guys make me (well, for the hot chicks, too). I'm on a diet right now, so no more Pie for at least a month or else I'm gonna get fat. I don't want my butt to look big! Ok, let's be realistic. No more Pie 2 days in a row.

Yeah, Rob, you should come sometime. Little Girl voice is missed!

Ok I get it. You are probably very smart to get out of the AMF trap now!

Good luck and have fun!

Not sure where here is, yet...I've applied at numerous places and almost done with an interview at one and have a scheduled interview with another, got a no-thanks call from one, and haven't followed up on my application at the rest of em. The key factor here is finishing the interview at one specific place . Once I find out the good word, I'll decide on the rest.

Just curious about F/O sim training. I'm assuming the sim stuff still entails conducting pilot flying duties, or is it half/half?

Not sure what half/half means. It's a checkride like any other. Your tested mainly on your abilities as a flying pilot. I'm sure they're looking to see that you're competent as a non-flying pilot as well when the captain is taking his checkride. But if you can't do the non-flying duties, then you won't be able to do the flying duties.
