| I've been reading up on the airnet gouges and one question I'm not totally sure of the answer on is four ways to tell if the gear is down and locked. If I were to answer that now, I would say: 1. Three green (and the red transition light being out) 2. Listening as it comes down and it sounds normal 3. Full flaps and no gear warning horn or... 4. Throttles to idle and no gear warning horn Is there anything wrong with that answer? Thanks |

| Look in the propeller spinner to see if you can see the gear. |

| Old Skool | Yep, 767Driver has the right one. All green lights on In-transit lights out No throttle horn No flaps horn Look to see the gear down, if you can That would actually make 5 of the ways if you split the horns into 2. There's really no right or wrong answer, just make sure you're thorough based on the airplanes you've flown. If Craig brings up one you haven't thought of, it doesn't necessarily mean you busted the interview. If he stares and is silent, you might have missed one of the important common ways.
