Default Airnet training ?

I was just wondering if any of the airnet pilots could tell me about where you stay durring training. Double or single occupancy? I know they provide a vehicle, but do you recomend brining your own? And do spouses get jumpseat privilages or just the employee? This and any other info about training would be great! Thanks

I'd recommend you bring your own car if you can, it works out much better. You stay in an extended-stay type hotel room 2 people to a room, but it's also two bedroom with a kitchen. Spouses get to jumpseat on Airnet, you get to jumpseat on a lot more.

Study hard and work hard during training, don't get into the "it's just a barron" mentality. I've seen a few good people wash out of training. It's difficult but it's really good training.

I expect to go in with the mentality that I will be flying a jet or something really difficult. I want to do well. Plus I have never flown a Baron so I will need to study hard. I do intend to take my car. Thanks for that info. And I guess you mean spouses only get to jumpseat on the airnet system. Thanks.

about the spouses jumpseating thing, is there a limited amount of times that a spouse can do this or is it just more restricted than what the pilot has?

Spouses can jump on Airnet, the Pilots get to jumpseat on a lot of regionals, some majors, and some cargo outfits.
