Got a call from Airnet today, I start class on the 18th! So if all goes well, I'll be an official freight dawg in a few more weeks.

Just curious, do you fly SIC for the few months until you get to 1200 hrs?

Hey guys im new to the forums - I have been seriously considering airnet lately. My time is 680 TT and 61 Multi. Should i start applying now or should i wait for 900 hours or so? I have a buddy whos working for them now and he told me to go for it, just wanted to get your thoughts too.

If I make it through training, yes I'd be an SIC until I reach 135 mins. I started applying when I hit 500 hours, then re-applied every month so it took awhile. They're hiring a lot of pilots this year, If you really want to work there, put your app in the second you reach the minimums. Make sure it's filled out correctly though.

congrats! I started a few months back, solid company, good pay. Just to let you know though training is tough. Its easy to think "its only a baron" but dont let yourself think that. They make sure you mentally have the balls to do this job as much as the skill. If you struggle, which most guys do atleast a little don't sweat it, they want to see the right attitude and the "can do" spirit so to speak. Good luck and let me know if you got any questions
