$18k for scheduled runs, around $25k for charter (f/o's). Capt. pay starts around $40-42k and could top out at around $60k for the charter side. Training is in Milwaukee, WI, at their facility. They pay per diem (don't know what it is) during training only, but do provide a rented house for you to stay in for free. I interviewed there about a month ago, and am in a pool. No word on when the next class is. Upgrade time for higher time guys (1000 hours or more) should be around 1 year or so from what I hear. It's a good place to get some quality turbine time if you don't want to go the regional route and want that PIC turbine a little quicker. The schedule is harder than the 121 world though - you fly to the outstation at night (around 8-9 pm generally) and then sleep in a hotel or bunk room that the company provides until moring when you fly back (around 6-7 am ish). You spend all day at your base, and repeat M-F night. ~wheelsup |

Sounds good to me. My goal is to be hireable in Febuary. Sources tell me that I can get in there now but I am going to get a little more experience before I attempt. I hear that they are always hiring because pilots always opt to side step to regionals. Wonder why that is? The pay and upgrades is pretty good compared to the regionals. Thanks for the info wheelsup. |

[/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't know, but I don't think many people are cut out for the freight world. I don't know if they just can't handle it, or they think they're too good for it. I think flying freight would be a great experience, even if it isn't the traditional 'fly at night, sleep during the day' freight job. Of course this is coming from someone who has absolutely no freight experience whatsoever, but I'd be up for it. |

I'm instructing at a school in New Mexico. As far as ACC goes, one of their main contractors, DHL, is re-organizing their routes. I've heard some runs will be closed, while others will be opened. This is supposed to happen around Sept. 9th. We'll see... ~wheelsup |

ACC is loosing BTV, CHO, RDU, FSD, ASG, LRD. They already lost GRR They are gaining DHN, MYR, PSC, SBA, EUG, SMX And they are bidding more, and most look hopeful. So far it's a loose one, gain one, and hopefully they will get a few more. |

I'm hoping that they move to routes a little further south so that if I do have an oppurtunity to work for them I won't have to relocate. But, if I have to. I have to do what I got to do.
