The FedEx "feeder" is NOT Fedex, but a contractor that flies FedEx packages. Try Empire Airlines and Merlin Airways and Mountain Air Cargo . These are all FedEx "feeder" companies with much lower mins. Hope this helps.

anyone know who flies into AUS? I know fedex does but I'm pretty sure I've seen some C208's in fedex colors go there.

It's probably going to AT LEAST be 135 mins. I noticed that Empire and Merlin were a bit higher for their freight ops.

[ QUOTE ] Anyone want to guess if the Mountain Air Cargo pilots tell the ladies at the brew pub that they're Fex Ex captains? [/ QUOTE ] Why would they? The ladies in the brew pub would just say, "So, do you want to be a real airline pilot someday?" |

I believe Empire requires 2000 TT with prior 135 experience or 3000 TT for people without 135 experience. They pay pretty good, don't fly much, and overall the pilots seem happy with their job and equipment. Pay starts in the 30's and tops out around the mid-40's or low 50's I think. cya ~wheelsup |

Anyone know the Fedex feeder that uses 208's into LAS? I don't see it on any route map.
