Well, I had "clean up the forums listing" on my to do list for months. Still working on it some and if you've got suggestions, now's a great time to let me know.

You should list forums in order of most specific to most general; otherwise, you'll get gobs of stuff in the first forum that fits. Which is why "General" is so active.

There should be a forum for "Instrument flying".

CFI'ing isn't really a career and ought to remain in the first grouping.

Low activity forums should be towards the bottom, since having them sandwiched between more popular forums just adds 'noise' when scanning the list.

You might consider grouping discussion forums separately from those not really discussion-oriented, such as "Trading Post", "Pictures from the Road", etc.

I had to bust out the dual-monitor iMac in the home office, so it's coming! Slowly... running low on espresso.

Eek. . .

I don't like it, but I know that won't drive any change.

It'll just take some getting use to. Not too sure if I like having to scroll down further to get to the CFI/Pro Pilot/Freight Dawg forums than I do for the Lav. . .but. . .whatever.

Is that why the "Jobs Available" section is gone?

There should still be a "general pro pilot" section, for discussion not pertaining to a specific segment of the industry.
