JC has been timing out on my BlackBerry. Unfortunetly it is permanently Websensed at work and I can't use my 60-minutes of Websense quota time to access the site, so my BB is the only way to get my fill during the day.

I get shakes, chills, and moderate dizziness while at work when I cannot access JC. Please help with the withdrawral.

I have been going nuts here at work and at school using Internet Explorer. I use Firefox at home, and the pages load slow sometimes but they load. On IE, I keep having to hit reload because only the logo on the top left, and the ad on the top right load. It drives me up the wall!

In a way I do, but they load fully eventually. From what I can tell, it takes IE's phishing filter significant time to check the site before it will be fully displayed. At least that is where I think it is getting held up.

It happens on different machines. I did see this same issue posted somewhere on this forum, but I can't find it right now because I keep having to hit reload. It always says "Done" in the corner, but maybe I'm just not patient enough....

Still having problem. Page loads tonight are taking 1-4 minutes. The page either says done with just the banner at the top and the posts pop up minutes later. Or the page appears to stall with Waiting for http://formus.jetcareers.com/..... at the botom.

I am using IE and the Phising filters are completely disable so that isn't it. I do have some better page times during the morning when not so many users are online.

I am also using another board http://www.logbookpro.com/forums/index.php that runs the same software and it is lightning fast out of the DC Area.

Could this be a server issue or Center backbone issue?

I don't have seem to have these problems when I use Firefox at home. My at home connection is slow anyways, so I'm probably not a great compass on this issue....

Formus? Might be a problem there!

Can you go to http://megaproxy.com/freesurf and then type in forums.jetcareers.com and let me know how the speed is affected?

I am on in the morning and the board is slightly faster but still taking awhile to load pages.

Megaproxy was only a a few seconds faster than IE 7.

Still seeing a lot of waiting for http://forums.... at the bottom of IE...

Just tried both again and IE is about 15-20 seconds to load a page with the fastest in about 5 seconds and the slowest in about 60 seconds.

MegaProxy is loading most of the pages in less that 7 seconds with the longest tonight taking about 15 seconds. Of course I am not logged into the board at mega proxy since HTTP POST is disabled on free surf.

The is strange indeed.

I don't know if this helps you or not but when I log out and surf it is noticeably faster than when I am logged in?

Perhaps something with the cache on your browser maybe? That's probably one of the last ideas that I have beyond just calling you three times a day and verbally updating you on the forum happenings!

I logged out to see if the site was faster as someone suggested, and lo and behold, it was! Better yet, it remained faster once I logged back in. So clearing the site cookies certainly had an effect.

try clearing cookies!!! that's been working for me and my JG users in the past.

ESP if you are using IE.
