Default Anyone else getting logged out but can't get back in?

scenario: in a post, someone links to a picture or another link to another jc post...you hit the link, it brings up the "login" procedure and you decide not to go that route (cuz why should you have to log in twice right?!) - that's the first problem...anyways, when you go back to the original post and continue on thru the forums, the software has already logged you OUT because of the login procedure you just brought up... anyways, when you go to log back in, it doesn't work. you get the "thank you kristie for logging in..." page but then you get the same page over again showing that you haven't logged in. odd!! anyways, you have to shut down your browser and open it back up in order to fix the problem because even if you type in the link to the forums, it won't log you back in.

anyone else having this problem? it seems to be happening more and more frequently and I can be using IE or safari.

I've seen something similar on occasion. Haven't detected any particular rhyme or reason to it yet, but maybe I'll start paying a little closer attention.

Isn't that kind of like asking someone to raise their hand if they aren't here?

That happened to me this morning. I closed all my browsers and opened a new one and the problem was gone.

Instead of closing and re-opening your browser, another option that has worked for me is to check off the Remember Me box when you log in.

I have had the problem as well. After closing the browser and opening a new one, I am able to log in. Strange indeed.
