There appears to be an issue with sending pm's and extremely slow response.

I hit submit reply and windows refreshed and the window came back and it was still sitting in the 'open' message window with the text I had just typed. I hit submit again thinking I missed something and it happened again. Finally I closed the window, checked my sent msgs and there was a duplicate.

I would say it's just me, but yesterday I rec'd 5 duplicatre messages from a user and the same thing happened. So I know it is not my pc/location etc.....

I had the same thing a few days ago. Sent four identical PM's to one person by mistake.

I've done the same thing this past week.. so it's definately a software problem that had to do with when the server went down.

Ok, I'm not sure if I got the PM problem fixed or not because it's intermittent, but if you're still having issues, let me know.

It more or less involved a full re-install of the software because even the good Englishmen at Jelsoft were dumfounded.

But if the problem persists, or pops up again, let me know and I'll work on a "Plan D"

12:20 Tues OH Time, no response to sending a PM, screen never changes, indicator bar on bottom slowly updates, and then just goes blank.

Thanks, I've noticed too so we're running some MySQL queries now to see what's up.

Seems to happen around 20-past the hour for some strange reason.

I have been bouncing around JC all morning, tried to get into PM's and could not even get in....And the time.......20 mins after the hour.

I started noticing that yesterday too, I could send PM's just fine until about 20 after the hour (every hour). I'm experiencing it now too, guess I'll just wait 4 more mins to send my PM.

That's pretty consistent to what I've been telling tech support at vbulletin. It's between :20 and :28. I'd tell you what I've been sending back to vbulletin, but it's geektalk!
