Default Post being deleted

I posted a thread last week entitled... " Yahoo! Slurp Spider" in the General Topics directory and for some reason it isn't there anymore.

What happened? Did it automatically get deleted? Was it deleted by a Mod? And Why? If it was then why wasn't I told?

It was moved to the Lavatory because it's not really an aviation-related post.

The search feature doesn't actually search "The Lavatory" because I don't want the site to show up on google for "Dick Cheney Shot my Cat!" and we attract legions of new users that only want to argue about the off-topic thread and whose only connection with aviation is chemtrail paranoia.

Threads are moved on a regular basis and if there's a question, send a mod a private message and we'll tell you about it, but because of the large amount of board activity if I have to move a post or delete a "Lookit my boobies!" thread, I don't have the resources to personally email each topic starter.

But it wasn't a bad post whatsoever, but more appropriate for our off-topic forum.
