cant get into current forums?

Whenever I log in and go to the forums and then click on one such as "General" I get taken to a list of topics in the General forum from back in July-October of last year. It does this for all the forums when I click on the forum name. Now if i click on the last posted topic from the list on the right side it takes me to the current stuff and then if i scroll to the top i can get back to the current list of topics in that forum but that is the only way i can get there... What gives Doug?

We had the server reset and it screwed up some of the indexing. Click the column above the 'last post' and it'll toggle between an up pyramid and a down pyramid (ascending sort or descending sort). That should fix the index problem.

That works but I have to click on "last post" each time I go into a forum. Is there a default to keep it that way?

check your display preferences in your "my home" area...
