Default taking up friends

Yea i was just wondering if you are allowed to take up a friend while renting out a plane at FSA, or if I would have to go to another FBO? Thanks

You can take people up as long as it is not a FS lesson. Also when you go in and rent you dont need to be in uniform. (Unless things have changed in the last two years).

Call me cheap, but when I wanted to rent I went down the street and saved a ton of money. Sun Aviation was renting a C-150 for $55 hr wet. They didn't even require a check out when I showed them I had a bunch of time in one. I love the flying go cart, even if it climbs like a sick dog. You can't see anything on the ground above 1500 ft anyway. Open the window, hang your arm outside, and surf the thermals.

Go to Sun and rent the Warrior-there's usually no checkout for FSI students who are PA-28 current. N359SA is a 2002 Warrior with a GNS430 and slaved HSI, for $95/hour. I've had a lot of fun with that airplane. Not any cheaper than FSI, but nicer.
