|  Question about FSA... I am considering FSA as my choice of flight school post military. Here's what I am looking for at a school. Just curious as to whether or not I am going to get it or not at FSA. Instrument and Commercial training in a Multi. Yes, I know they offer that. Complex and high performance , tail dragger endorsements. Glass cockpit training G1000 Avidyne something to that affect. If I can't get it there any recommendations to schools in south Florida that have a twin star and 172 with glass. Ultimately, my goal is to instruct first than go to the airlines. |

| Re: Question about FSA... Because it's way more expensive to fly up here and I can still build Alaska time before I move back to Florida. I'm not up here by choice and this isn't where I want to live. |

| Re: Question about FSA... At FSA you can actually make a living instructing. Great benefits and other FSI opportunites are possible if you stay there long enough. I'm not sure how much research you've done on airlines but right now I would seriously consider other aviation opportunities as well. I just barely made it in to a regional before all the hiring slowed/stopped. I don't plan to stay here long before going to the corporate side. The fast CA upgrade is now just a dream.

|  Re: Question about FSA... The advanced airline training programs are a joke. Kids pay $80K for FSA training and then throw down another $20K just to get paid "peanuts" at the regionals. Need to keep in mind the yearly living expenses and your looking at a "whopping" loan of $120K...and that's if you study hard and don't have to repeat any lessons. The only reason the regional can get away with this "road-side-robbery" is that there are people willing to work for nothing....no thanks!!

| Re: Question about FSA... CFI is the best course of action. You actually have to learn the information and correlate it to teach. People who take the short cut "AATP" are individuals who want to "just-get-by" in life. My-2-cents
