Is it really that common for pilots to get nauseous from upset recovery training? I only have 2 hours of flight training in now (from a local FBO) and I find it hard to believe that pilots really get that sick just from spinning and G-forces. I've never gotten sick from roller coasters or thrill rides. Is upset recovery worse (or should I say better?) than the rides at Six Flags?

i get sick on both roller coasters and upset recovery. It all depends on the person

It depends on the person....some can handle it and some can't...I'd wager that more people can handle it vs. can't.....

and rollercoaster will not be the same after doing aerobatics...you'll be bored on them.....

Man that sucks you got sick. I had a great time doing it. So great a time I found another guy outside of FSA who does Aerobatic instruction in a EA 300L and man, that plane is a heck of a plane... just can't go more than about 50 minutes due to fuel.
