Default training schedule

I am starting private audit class on June 3rd. How many days a week do you normally fly and have ground school at FSI? What days do you get off?

Default Re: training schedule

Ground school is Monday-Friday and is usually a 4-hour block each day (either 8-12 or 1-5). Flying times are up to you and your instructor.

If memory serves you can’t fly during the Audit, but you can start as soon as you begin commercial ground. It’s pretty reasonable to be in ground school and get in a flight a day.

Other than ground school commitments, scheduling days off from flying is also between you and your instructor. During step 2 where there is more solo than duel you can fly seven days a week if you want. Once you start multi you will be taking off what ever your instructors day off is.
