Default ASA Program??

I'm a former check pilot/instructor at FSI and just heard some buzz the ASA program was done? Any truth to that? How are things going in Vero recently? This forum has been kind of quiet.......

Is the XJT or AE program up yet? And I know you have to be 21 yrs. of age for the ASA program but is that also true regarding XJT and AE?

ExpressJet program is up and running. I am not aware of the age requirement, but I will try and find out.

Hey I talked to Tonya today and found out the age requirement is 18 for expressjet and 21 for ASA and AE. Do you know how likely it is to get the COE? Are their a lot of guys that don't? How many guys are currently doing this first officer course? It sounds like a good opportunity I just don't know if its worth the 27k. What do you guys think?

P.S. I was also told for the Expressjet interview you need to have 400 TT 100ME.

The COE is dependent on how well you are prepared for the interview. THe more prepared you are the higher the likelyhood that you will get the COE. Treat it like you would any airline interview and I am sure you will do fine. The nice aspect being that you get the COE prior to starting the training so you wont spend all your money for nothing. A class of three is starting the ASA track this week, I am not sure about the ExpressJet course.
